deep sadness robs you from knowing who you are. it reaches down into your core and squeezes your vertebrae until pieces of your spine become mangled. standing up, a chore, laying down, a chore. breathing (calmly) a chore.
deep sadness is a seed for all seasons and it takes root in between your discs. when you have a good day it twists and turns around your lungs as a reminder to breathe, but faster and faster and faster. until you’re dizzy with emotion. of what emotion I’m not too sure?
you could place it if you could put your finger on it but those hands aren’t your hands. you don’t recognize them. you never recognize your body even when you’re looking right at it. people call your name and you answer because it’s familiar. but is it yours?
have your forgotten your identity? has sadness taken it? has it made a home in your heart?
Objection, your honor. There has been no scam. The
defendant
clearly stated that they would tell the plaintiff’s girlfriend if the plaintiff bought the defendant a pizza. It was the failure of the plaintiff to heed the terms before agreeing to them that resulted in his infidelity being exposed.
my motto for this year is TRYING, whatever I want, whatever I wanna achieve, I gotta at least try it out, if it won’t work out at least I’ll know that I tried….. otherwise I’ll live my life regretting that I didn’t try
